
Eschool Policies
In the following, all students, representatives of the students, and legal guardians of the students will be collectively referred to as “the Student”. Blue Sky eSchool Corporation will be referred to as “the eSchool”. Teachers hired by Blue Sky eSchool Corporation are referred to as “the Teacher”. Blue Sky eSchool Corporation reserves the rights to modify the following policies at any time. If the policies are modified, the modified version will be posted on the eSchool’s website at www.blueskyeschool.com.
I – Admission Policy
1) Only parents or legal guardians of student who are between the ages 6 to 18 and are capable of using a computer independently can apply their child for admission. Student younger than age of 6 or older than age of 18 need special approval from the eSchool to be admitted.
2) The eSchool provides fair and equal admission to all applicants, regardless of race and background. However the eSchool reserves the rights to refuse admission due to class capacity limit or any other constraints.
3) The eSchool reserves the right to expel students for disruptive behavior in class or inappropriate behavior on any of eSchool’s platforms.
4) For new students, placement in a class will be based on either the eSchool assignment after the interview.
5) The eSchool reserves the rights to transfer the Student to a lower grade if the Student’s performance and grade are not up to standard with his/her classmates.
II – Tuition Refund Policy
1) The Student can cancel his/her registration to the eSchool before the third class with full tuition refund. The cost of books purchased by the Student (plus the shipping and handling) is not refundable. The Student will keep the book that he or she has paid.
2) Administration fee and registration fees are not refundable.
3) The Student can cancel his/her registration to the eSchool before the fifth week’s lesson with prorated tuition refund, i.e. the eSchool will only charge tuition for the lessons taken by the Student till the date of the written cancellation notice.
4) There is $50 cancellation fee for each registration cancellation.
5) There will be no refund after the Student takes his/her fifth week’s lesson.
6) There will be no refund if the Student is expelled for bad behavior in class or on any of the eSchool’s platforms.
III – Class Change and Makeup Policy
1) The student may request one transfer to a different class each semester. This transfer is subject to the eSchool’s approval. Under very special circumstance, additional transfers may be granted by the eSchool with a charge of $50 per transfer to be paid by the student.
2) The eSchool reserves the right to transfer the Student to another class if the Teacher determines that the other Chinese class is more appropriate. If the Student does not wish to be transferred, he/she can quit and the eSchool will refund the tuition, pro-rata, for the lessons untaken yet.
3) No makeup lesson will be provided for a missed class.
4) Students taking private lessons can reschedule 8 times per 30-hours purchased.
5) Students taking semi-private class can reschedule the lesson time 4 times per school year.
6) All reschedule/change requests must be emailed/wechat/texting to eSchool 48-hours prior to the Student’s regular class time.
7) The eSchool reserves the rights to change or modify the class schedule, with an advanced notice of 2 days in non-emergency cases.
8) Students who cannot attend the class due to the schedule change will have option to transfer to another class.
IV – Privacy Policy
1) The eSchool will only use the personal information collected from the Teacher and the Student for the sole use of eSchool’s administration and marketing purposes. The eSchool will take all reasonable precaution to safeguard such private information and will never share any such information with a third party without approval by the Student.
2) The Teacher and the Student are not allowed to exchange personal information. Student agrees that all communications between the Teacher and the Student will be facilitated through the eSchool’s platforms and office. The eSchool may record such communications for quality assurance purposes.

V Property Rights Policy
1) All materials used or distributed by the eSchool in and outside of the class, including but not limited to, class video, homework assignment, test and quiz problems, are properties of the eSchool. Any use of these properties outside of the eSchool function is a violation and the eSchool reserves the right to take legal actions against such violations.
VI Test Policy
1) The eSchool have the right to use appropriate teaching methods to evaluate the Student’s progress and performance of learning. These methods include but not limited to tests, quizzes, and homework assignments.
VII Student ID Policy
1) Each student is assigned a unique student ID when he/she completes registration. This ID is used and can be only used for the sole purpose of i) attending assigned class(es); ii) posting only school related messages over the eSchool’s website or platforms; iii) interacting with other students and teachers of the eSchool for the sole purpose of studying for the course registered.
2) The Student should not behave in violation of the laws and regulations of the United States or in violation of any State law.
3) The Student agrees not to use the school’s website or platforms to solicit, or market for any reason and purpose other than those specified in VII-1.
4) The Student is responsible for safe keeping his/her own student ID and is responsible for any misuse of his/her student ID.
VIII Student Waiver
1) The Student will not hold the eSchool responsible or liable for any incident, damage or loss in any forms occurring in or out the class time assigned by eSchool to the Student.
2) The eSchool does not allow any private personal information exchange during the class or on any of eSchool’s platforms. The eSchool is not responsible or liable for any consequences, loss, damage in any form due such exchange, including but not limited to communication during and outside of class.
3) The result of any study depends on each individual student’s effort, his/her previous knowledge of materials, and his/her individual ability of learning. The eSchool thus is not responsible and does not guarantee the result of the study in the eSchool, even though providing a high quality teaching in Chinese language and other subjects is the eSchool’s ultimate goal.
4) The eSchool reserves the rights, in special circumstances, to modify, alter, or waive any eSchool regulation in its application to an individual student.
5) Students requesting a waiver of a School regulation must submit their request in writing to the office at info@blueskyeschool.com.
6) During any class time, the eSchool is not responsible for the supervision of the Student.
7) The student is responsible for handling to the login to the class before the class.
8) If for any reason the eSchool cannot provide the registered classes at a scheduled time, the eSchool will have no liability other than refunding the money, pro-rata, for the class untaken.
9) The Student will not hold the eSchool responsible or liable for misbehavior of any other students or teachers of the eSchool. Any misbehavior should be reported to eSchool immediately.
10) The Student consents to the eSchool recording the class and all communications on the eSchool’s platforms for administration and education purposes.
